McGivney 'Miracle,' Catholic Charities in Court, Rupnik Mosaics Covered at Lourdes

In this episode: An Arizona family says their toddler was miraculously saved from death through prayers to Blessed Michael McGivney and other intercessors. The Supreme Court heard oral argument in a case brought by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Superior, Wisconsin, with the agency saying that state discounted its religious identity in a dispute over unemployment insurance requirements. The bishop who oversees the Lourdes shrine has ordered mosaics by Father Marko Rupnik at the site covered up, due to longstanding and extensive allegations of sexual, spiritual and psychological abuse by the priest. A Polish foundation carries on the legacy of St. John Paul II by forming and supporting youth educationally and spiritually. In a message to Missionary of Mercy priests celebrating the Jubilee Year, Pope Francis stresses, "God made himself man to reveal to the world that he never abandons us."
